Cannabinoid Color Wheel

An explanatory wheel of commonly found cannabinoids (and their thought effects) that exist naturally in the cannabis plant. Cannabinoids work with our body's Endocannabinoid System (ECS) to help provide support to the system. Our ECS works as a checks and balances system to help maintain homeostasis.

Affecting everything from sleep, cell generation, hormone regulation, immunity, etc. Over 120 different cannabinoids have been identified thus far, all having their own impact on different parts of the ECS system.

Some cannabinoids bind to the receptors, which are located all over the CNS, organs, and peripheral system; others like CBD seem to block the receptors. This allows our body to better use our systems and endocannabinoids more effectively. CBD vs. CBG - both CBD (cannabidiol) and CBG (cannabigerol) are both known for their neuro-protection, analgesic properties, and their antioxidant nature , when combined they show strong anti-Inflammatory benefits. CBG research shows antibacterial, antidepressant and antibacterial qualities.

Delta-8 is a hemp derived cannabidiol that is created when CBD is reheated, the molecule changes slightly under the heat, affecting the way it binds to the ECS receptors. Allowing Delta-8 to be a psychoactive Cannabinoid, unlike CBD. Delta-8 is also known for strong anti-nausea, anti-anxiety, pain relief, and neuro-protective effects.

Delta-9 THC

Delta-9 THC is a naturally occurring cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant. Most marijuana cannabis plants are typically high in levels of THC Delta-9, while hemp cannabis plants tend to be higher in other cannabinoids and lower in Delta-9.

Delta-9 THC can exist up to 0.3% in any legal hemp derived product. In these low concentrations Delta-9 will not cause a psychoactive effect, but levels will build up in the system over time. Delta-9 binds to the ECS receptors, in higher concentrations cells stimulate the brain causing a release of dopamine and an intoxicating effect.

Target Dosage is defined as The Dose that achieves the desired effect. Not to be confused with Maximum tolerated dose.

Age, Gender, food intake, Metabolism, and weight are some of the factors that indicate your own target dosage.

Start Slow, and build your dose. Don't allow your dose to build you.

Ensure proper discussions with your medical provider, and avoid flooding the systems with too many inputs at once.
